Fontina, D'Alpeggio 1/18 lb
These Valdostana cows are milked twice a day so that their milk is as fresh as possible. The resulting cheese has a wonderful full and aromatic flavor reminiscent of mountain forage. It is an excellent table cheese, but also serves as the basis for many local dishes. Fontina D.O.P. is the main ingredient of Föndua (Fonduta Valdostana), which is Italy’s version of fondue.
